How to Submit

A Look Inside our Magazine

Here at 4:30AM, we accept submissions on a rolling basis, so keep the poetry coming all year long! We accept work in the following genres: 

• Poetry: we really like it so submit as much as you want. Multimedia work is also encouraged. 

• Fiction: flash fiction and creative non-fiction, but please keep submissions to under 300 words.  

• Visual Art: at this time, we only accept photography and digital art​

We welcome simultaneous submissions. ​We do not accept previously published work. 

How to Submit: email your creative work as an attachment (.doc, .docx, .pdf, .jpg) to bacwordssubmissions@gmail.com. Please include the submission category and a title for each work. In your email, include whether you would like your piece to be published anonymously. However, we encourage writers to include a 2-3 sentence literary bio, so that we can get to know them better.
